-: Body is the main part of a vehicle and it make design  depend on the chassis frame and manufacturer

ADVANTEG OF BODY-:

1-: STRENGTH --- 

                              The is must be strong enough to with stand all type  of force to which the car is subjected , which include  the weight of the car passenger  and the luggage , inertia braking and side forces. It should also be able to cope with impact  load of reasonable magnitude.

2-: AIR DRAG --- 

                              The resistance of the air  during running depends  upon the body shape  and increases  directly as  the square of the vehicle speed . the shape of the body  should be such that the air dage ig minimum.

3-:WEATHER PROTECTION --- 

                               The design of the body  must be such that the occupants  and the luggage  are protected  form bad  weather .

4-LIGHTNESS----- 

                               The body should be as light as possible  in relation  to the amount  of pace  in side .

5-:PROTECTION OF ACCIDENT ---- 

                                This is very impotent consideration in the car body design. The body must be such that  the driver is at maximum ease so that there are  last chances of the accident  taking place  due to fatigue . how ever in case  thr accident take place  the body must protect  the occupants .
